CFM Company: Then to Now

CFM Company was founded in 1971 by Frank Frauenfelder as a independent manufacturer’s representative for American Standard Fans and Nesbitt Air Conditioning Equipment.

Frank retired in 1992, and Mike Zeller became CFM Company’s second president until 2010.  When he retired Gene Krist became CFM Company’s third president.  As of June 1, 2024 Brent Snider has been named the fourth president of CFM Company.  Gene Krist will retire at the end of 2024.  Until then he will still continue to work with the company through the end, assisting with the transition of responsibilities to Brent Snider.

Over the years, CFM Company has expanded its product offering and grown to be one of the premier manufacturer’s representatives for HVAC products in the marketplace it serves.

The product offering covers both the mechanical and sheet metal trades in the HVAC business. The normal territory coverage for most of the products is Colorado and Eastern Wyoming.

CFM Company’s headquarters office and warehouse is located in Denver, with remote offices in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Grand Junction, CO.
